Patio Project

Shown below is the installation of a patio that used a variety of techniques. You project does not need to involve all of these to get great results, but this shows how many different ways you can use and finish concrete for a fantastic, durable and eye catching projects.

Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) are installed over the concrete footing and brick ledge. These forms are then filled with concrete and left in place.

Base of patio is backfilled with Flowable Fill to bring the floor up to grade. Notice that the brick was installed on the brick ledge and over the ICF walls.

Colored Concrete is poured and finished over the top of the Flowable Fill.

A Secondary Color is spread over the concrete and  stamps are used to create the look and texture of  cut stone.

The Stamping process continues across the first half of the patio floor, then on to the second half, paying close attention to the blending of the pattern.
